What makes a good website

ensure the website is consistent throughout
(font, layout, colours, style etc)
use a clean, simple navigation structure (no more than 3 clicks
to display a page or image)
design your sites with search engines in mind (we are not SEO experts, but will follow the guidelines offered by search engines)
optimise images and code as best as possible
(no large images, use of CSS etc)
your design should reflect you and appeal to your target audience

Tips for a good site – content
You should have no more than 2 goals for your website (eg, sell a product or service, generate leads, call you, download a free report etc). The more things you want your site to do the less successful it will be at doing any of them
Clearly communicate who you are and what you offer to your visitor within the first 10 seconds. You have roughly 10 seconds to grab a visitors attention and let them know you have what they are looking for before they look somewhere else.
Have a plan for getting people to your site (google adwords, flyers, online banners etc) ... Although I do not specialise in this field I do have relationships with other companies who will be able to assist in this area.
Search Engines
Design a site with the search engines in mind (use of content and keywords)
